weekend was horrible, in a way that i went out most of the time that i neglected my homework!
in the end, i had to rush my homework on sunday night and still couldn't finish it. in the end i didn't get to school on monday ): effort wasted.
[ rewinding... ] but anyways during the weekend, had a fun time in BB on saturday (: it was mostly games for the entire parade, and the game got us all running like mad ( NCOs planned it d: )
then after parade, we bathed in school for the first time! didn't know school bathroom rocks that much, it has warm & powerful water! xD
then after parade was over, the usual 4 of us were running late due to our meeting that ended at 3pm, thus we took taxi there. oh man, waste transport fees again ):
youth was fun & exciting, sang a lot of songs that were familiar to me d: and, the main thing is i can really sense God's presence there. my feelings when i step into the worship hall and when i exit it was absolutely different; i poured out my troubles to God and for he loved us so, i felt all better knowing he's there for me, sharing my pain and sorrows.
after the sermon was over, we went to meet up with maxine and people at vivo. they wanted to celebrate with haixin his birthday, hahas. in the end we had long john silver for dinner. kelvin, benedict and i didn't really communicate much with the girls, instead we entertained ourselves watching small kids playing with water d:
after eating and stuff, it was near 9pm, and we decided to accompany the girls home. benedict sent hilary, haixin with diane, kelvin and i with maxine. we reached home around 12am, and i practically dozed off in minutes d:
[ fast forward... ] on tuesday, we got to meet our batch of sec 1 boys for the first time (:
not many of them, got like 12. but it was pretty impressive already, as many of the students went to join sports group. we introduced ourselves to them, got to know them better, and played some ice-breaker games. actually we were not supposed to have CCA on tuesday, and should start officially on friday & saturday, but we guessed it was a pretty good idea to warm them up for saturday first (:
then in the night, after fetching kelvin and haixin home, she said she had to grab some stuff from my aunt, thus we proceeded to sheryl's house. in the end, after lying down on the soft carpet, i decided not to leave the place anymore d: so i asked my mum whether i could stay for the night, and promised to do my homework. she doubted if i would do my homework and if i would wake up on time the next morning, but i managed to convince her (:
after bathing and eating dinner, i started doing my work (sheryl and her sister sleep already ._.), and i realised the environment was really nice and quiet, so much so i could fully concentrate on my work despite having my uncle smoking and watching HBO and other channels in the living room. i was surprised when i completed my work, apart from those i can't do d: , at around 11.30pm, and proceeded to sleeping peacefully on the nice, smooth carpet (:
next morning, after my cousin had left for school, i woke up and went home to bathe and stuff, then got ready for school (:
actually i had loads of intention to complete schoolwork peacefully in school, in the end everyone was having loads of fun decorating the classroom, and i couldn't do my work at all, thus suggesting to return home earlier. while eating at the coffee shop, ms lim and mr yoong walked past, and i told ms lim i couldn't finish her work, and she immediately knew i have loads of questions to ask (:
thus now, i have a lighter workload for tonight, meaning earlier sleep! hooray! (:
some stuff i want to pray/wish/hope for (:
- let's hope qiyan would recover real soon, chinese new year's coming!
- for this friday's e-maths test, may everyone score A1 grades for it (: me included! d:
- juliana says she's having headaches and giddiness, hope she would be fine asap (:
- caleb's braces/teeth had been irritating him these days, but let's just hope you can continue to eat 5 pizzas everyday! hahas
- haixin's 16 already! hope he can jio us to NC16 movies soon d:
- benedict's been quarreling with me over dumbass stuff these few days, but i know it's part of friendship, so let's just hope i doesn't happen often (:
- let's hope kelvin would be able to manage with the upcoming events in BB (: i would help!
there's still like dozens of things i want to pray/wish/hope for, but there's simply too many, for now, that's that (:
