hope everyone had loads of fun receiving angbaos & eating loads of delicacies!

chinese new year was great for me :D

reunion dinner on new year's eve was really nice! had all my cousins at my house except sheryl's family, they went their ahma side for dinner ): the food was fantastic, maybe because everyone did the cooking and i enjoyed it (: and the next best thing is that everyone sat at the table for dinner, which seldom happens at home :D

woke up fresh and all excited to 拜年 (:

after bathing and eating ahma's very own 甜汤, my cousins came!
then everything was like so rush as ahma kept hurrying us not to be late for church
i couldn't put in my contact lens, so eunice sis & sheryl were like "pushing" the contact lens into my eyes already. after 10mins of eye battling i finally wore it ._.

however, throughout the entire mass, i couldn't help but feel irritated by the contact lens, so when i went to laogou's house, i quickly got it off and washed it. while i rest my right eye, i greeted everyone there looking weird, having one violet eye and one black eye =/
laogou is bedridden ): when i saw her i felt really heartached, last year when i saw her she could still walk, really hope she could regain the strength to walk again

then we went to ah-gu's house for lunch.

after taking some photos with eunice sis look at my violet eyes, i finally couldn't take the pain anymore, and took off my contact lens. after taking it out, i realised there's a tear in the middle of the lens, and i'm crappy sad. 20 bucks gone just like that ):
then after analysing the contact lens with my cousins, we concluded that it could have been torn when they tried to force it into my eyes =/
lunch was still great, had loads of fun in germaine's room, listening to eugene playing the guitar to entertain the kids, and germaine kept calling nicholas bro "korkor~", hahas.

all of us went seperate ways as my dad wanted to visit ah-zou d:
at ah-zou's house, gerald, sharmaine sis & sherie sis were there too (:

ah-zou's eyes had blood in it, and her face seemed bruised ): another heartbreaker for the day. we all asked her to see a doctor, but she just kept refusing, and can see her health's not that good this year. maybe it's common for someone who has lived on earth for 95 years, but i pray that her health would improve soon! soon after the adults got into their own conversation, we, out of boredom, we started talking about piercings d:

then from gore we moved to gross, and talked about the woman who vomitted and swallowed it all back ._.

at night, we went to 小姑 aunt lilian's house and had western dinner (:
the food was super duper nice, but i ate little. somehow i felt bloated ): but we got bored soon after, and started talking about why we never took photos every year and stuff. and so, we decided to take a photo together (:

gerald smiled super widely, i think he's pretty excited about this photo taking session d:

i was about to smile when whoever took the photo pressed the button already, oh well. that's for our 1st cousins get together photo (:

alright, the 4 of us started gobbling saltish raisins like nobody's business while watching good quality rat-ta-too-e ._. i don't know the spelling. but in any case, everyone left till the show ended. it was a pretty special occassion, my dad's side were all present for the first time (:

初二

our family hosted for everyone to come (:

well, i helped out quite a lot, my mum couldn't manage serving everyone, and i'm proud of myself for helping out! muahahaha~
had loads of fun, earned from 20cents till 2bucks or so from black jack d:

nicholas bro, eunice sis, sheryl, eugene & germaine were all around, so we got ourselves occupied by playing badminton and stuff, and taking loads of pictures! too bad it's all in sheryl's cam, so i don't have the pictures yet ):
in the end i didn't feel really well and slept till 10pm, when everyone had already gone home. then i realised i had fever, so i quickly ate dinner, pop 2 panadols and slept at 1am d:

初三

had simple lunch with my parents at home, then went to visit my ahma's godmother at sembawang. she's 100 years old this year! and the best thing is, she kept asking us to help ourselves to the snacks on the table, making me feel very touched, as she's already so old yet can still be such a nice host. oh ya, while we were there, she kept mumbling some words, and we couldn't understand it much as her voice was pretty much muffled, but after getting to know from her maid that she reads the bible everyday everytime, we realised she was actually saying the scriptures from the bible - touching!

after the visitation, my dad brought us all to japanese village, and we had sushi! (:
it was a simple high tea, but i had my fill :D
then at night went over to 姑姑 house, and there we saw ah-ba (:
she's 96 years old this year if i'm not wrong, so cool la!

we didn't stay long for the dinner, and left soon after.

went over to sheryl's house, and there i started watching 斗牛要不要

i watched till 1am before deciding to go sleep (:

初四
happy birthday to my sister carine (:
8 years old already, time flies d:

went to aunty pengchu's chicken rice stall to meet up with my mum's ex-classmates.
their kids are all younger than me, surprisingly :D
the adults all got into their own conversations, while i happily ate all the remaining chicken meat.

then after eating lunch, my dad brought us to jurong point to open up a savings account for carine. spent quite some time there, having the financial consultant to tell us about the different accounts & opening the final one.
then my dad bought a mp3 for sales usage, adapter and stuff. for me, i went to music junction and got myself a "Seed of Chucky" vcd :D
it's m18, so i got my dad to pay. immediately after i got home, i started watching it, and i realised why people commented it's more of a comedy than violence, true indeed :D
went to church at 6pm and had dinner with uncle john & family at 9th street (:
the food took years to come & we almost starved d:
good thing the stares from my dad and uncle john worked, and they quickly served the food :D
it was pretty tasty, and to my surprise filling. phew~ i almost thought i had to come home to cook noodles.

now that i'm back home, i'm here blogging (:
